Our Values

Parent

Flexible Learning has enabled my daughter to 'get back on track' with her education and she has excelled under Flexible Learning - I am very grateful as a parent and would like to thank you all and congratulate the team on their commitment and high level of professionalism which I have observed this year.

Referrer

Personally, I would like to thank you all for the dedication, commitment and passion for our young people. Without Flexible Learning we would be lost, again thanks for your hard work.

Flexible Learning has provided support and education to our pupils for the past 5 years. I am pleased that my young people learn in a stress free nurturing environment.

Student

Flexible learning was one of the best things that has ever happened to me, it has been the best ever experience ever, I never thought I would be getting the GCSE grades I got - Thank you!

Even though I was only here for 3 months I really enjoyed my time here, I was treated so well and it felt comfortable to attend. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me!

Our Ethos

Flexible Learning Centre prides itself on the “tailored education” philosophy of all learners having a personalised and achievable education plan. Our motto which underpins our school philosophy is; “Ubi Determinatum Succident”, meaning ‘where the determined succeed’. This basic philosophy highlights not only our personal drive of educational success but that of all of our learners. This is illustrated in our operational practices, staff motivations and our learners’ success both on courses and following courses.

Our Philosophy

The school philosophy is the basis of the schools ‘vision of actuality and practice’ and provides the basis for how this philosophy can be observed in tangible and measureable formats. Many schools focus on a polarised vision of success involving certificates, transferable work skills, minimum core and preparation for adult life. At Flexible Learning Centre we believe in fusion of these skills/success and philosophy within our tangible practice.
